Place of processing

The data are processed at the headquarters of the Data Controller. In accordance with the provisions of art. 43 et seq. of Legislative Decree 196/2003, any processing outside the countries of the European Union requires the express consent of the data subject.

Purposes and methods of processing

Personal Data and Navigation Data collected automatically by the site or voluntarily entered by the User or the Interested Party are collected for the purposes and through the methods described below. The data will be processed using instruments and methods aimed at ensuring the confidentiality and security of data, in compliance with the provisions of Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 and in accordance with current legislation. The Data, compulsory and voluntary, provided by the Users, will be used by Sunflower exclusively for the purposes indicated below:

  • to respond to specific information requests from Users;
  • to allow the owner of the site to defend himself or herself, in court or in the preparatory stages for its possible establishment, from abuse in the use of the same or related services by the User;
  • profile evaluation for applications for open positions at Sunflower.

When necessary pursuant to Legislative Decree 196/2003, Sunflower requires the consent of the user or interested party before proceeding with the processing of personal data.

Types of data processed

Data provided compulsorily by the User

The computer systems and procedures used to operate the Sunflower website collect, during their operation, certain personal data relating to its users. This personal data is useful for the technical use of the site and to allow the user to make use of the services offered, and therefore their provision is not optional, but compulsory.

This information allows the identification of the User or the interested party. This category of data includes name, surname, e-mail and tax code. These data are used only for the purposes indicated in the previous points, and for the time necessary to carry out the service requested by the User. The User has the right to request its removal at any time for legitimate reasons. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.

Data provided voluntarily by the User

The provision of sensitive personal data is optional and voluntary and requires the explicit consent of the User. In the event that the user uses the site to publish or share in any way personal data of third parties, he assumes full responsibility. The owner is relieved of any responsibility for their instrumental processing resulting from the communication or dissemination.

Both in the case of data provided obligatorily and in the case of data provided on an optional basis, Sunflower undertakes to store and control such data in such a way as to minimise, by means of appropriate security measures, the risks of destruction or loss, unauthorised access or processing that is not permitted or does not comply with the purposes for which it was collected.

Rights of data subjects

In order to exercise the rights established by art. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (confirmation of the existence of the data provided, knowledge of their content and origin, verification of their accuracy, request for integration, cancellation, updating, correction, request for blocking of data processed unlawfully, opposition to their processing for legitimate reasons), the user or interested party may contact the data controller directly at the address indicated above.
